Harnaaz Sandhu was crowned Miss Universe 2021. She is the pride of India. She won the Miss Universe title after an incredible 21 years.     Sandhu was born and raised in Punjab. She is currently studying for her Master's in Public Administration. Harnaaz Sandhu is the third Indian woman to win "Miss Universe." She was only 21 years when she earned the title. Sushmita Sen and Lara Dutta won the title in 1994 and 2000, respectively. Sandhu was previously named Femina Miss India Punjab 2019 and Miss Diva Universe 2021. She was the 70th Miss Universe at Israel's Universe Dome in Eilat.

    She has also acted in movies like Yaara Diyan Poo Baran, Bai Ji Kuttange and, more recently, Prithvi Raj Chauhan opposite Akshay Kumar.

  2. Harnaaz Sandhu was bullied and body shamed:

    In her opening statement for the Miss Diva competition, she said, "From a young girl with fragile mental health who was bullied and shamed for her body, to a woman who rose from the ashes and realised her true potential, from a person who once doubted her own existence to a woman who wants to inspire the youth." She is now an advocate for body positivity.

    Harnaaz's mother was a successful gynaecologist and raised her to be strong. In fact, she went with her mother to health camps when she was a child and tried to understand how hard it was to take care of menstrual health and hygiene.     Harnaaz likes to do yoga and meditate because she thinks it helps her connect with her environment better. She also loves to ride horses and enjoys riding her bike.

    Harnaaz tries to eat healthy foods and stays away from processed, gluten-filled, and sugary foods. She always makes sure to drink enough water. She tries to eat healthy, but sometimes she gives in and eats home-cooked Punjabi food.
